Work Environment

This remote position allows for flexibility and the convenience of a home office, while also ensuring you are connected with your clients and team through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using standardized tools and measures.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage symptoms of mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
  • Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, to ensure optimal care and successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and clinical best practices in mood disorders to refine therapeutic approaches and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, ethical, and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment evaluations, adhering to industry standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment efforts and continuous professional development.
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of clients, helping to challenge stigma surrounding mood disorders while promoting a culture of understanding and acceptance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidates will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This position requires a deep understanding of the complexities these conditions present, as well as a commitment to empowering clients to work towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Expertise in evidence-based practices relevant to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience working in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • A proven track record of achieving positive therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits
