Work Environment

You will be engaged during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistent support to our clients remotely. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mental health symptoms, including mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring they are active participants in their care.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about treatment options, symptom management, and strategies for self-care and resilience.
  • Regularly monitor and track clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
  • Engage in case consultations with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.
  • Stay abreast of the latest mental health research and treatment modalities, incorporating new knowledge into clinical practice.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and professional development initiatives to refine your skills and knowledge in suitable therapy practices.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, working towards de-stigmatization of mental health issues and addressing barriers to care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic supports a diverse range of individuals experiencing mood disorders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from various backgrounds, including those with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding each client's unique circumstances and the ability to deliver empathetic and effective therapy that empowers them toward recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas, such as LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT.
  • Proficient in utilizing evidence-based treatment strategies for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
  • Strong communication skills with an established ability to foster rapport with clients across varied demographics.
  • An understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a clinical setting providing therapy for individuals with mood disorders.
  • A track record of success in fostering positive client outcomes in a therapeutic environment.
  • Knowledge of community health resources and ability to refer clients as needed for additional support.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
