• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies that address individual client needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration to ensure comprehensive client care, assisting in treatment planning and evaluation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training to stay informed about the latest mental health practices and research.
• Encourage clients to achieve their therapeutic goals and improve emotional well-being through a supportive and empathetic approach.

You will primarily serve individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our clients often come from underserved backgrounds, thus requiring a flexible, approachable, and culturally competent counseling style to connect with diverse populations. Your role will directly impact their ability to access quality mental health care and improve their quality of life.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating your capacity to handle a broad spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a wide range of clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience implementing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems available to clients seeking additional assistance.

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000–90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
