Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Health Insurance Agent to assist clients in the United States with understanding and enrolling in health insurance plans. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to guide customers through the insurance selection process while providing a high-quality customer experience.


The Health Insurance Agent will be responsible for identifying customer needs, explaining available insurance options, addressing questions, and supporting clients throughout the enrollment process while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with potential and existing customers interested in health insurance plans.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand each client's healthcare requirements, financial situation, and coverage preferences.
  • Explain health insurance plans, benefits, coverage options, premiums, deductibles, and eligibility requirements in a clear and professional manner.
  • Guide customers through the enrollment process and assist with completing required documentation.
  • Provide accurate information regarding available plans and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Build trust and rapport with customers by providing personalized assistance and solutions.
  • Manage customer objections and concerns while maintaining a consultative sales approach.
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to increase enrollment opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and follow-up activities in CRM systems.
  • Meet individual and team sales goals, quality standards, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on insurance products, market changes, and company procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of customer personal information.


Requirements

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, call center, BPO, or insurance-related roles.
  • Previous experience selling health insurance, Medicare, ACA plans, or other insurance products is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with U.S. customers is a plus.
