Summary
The Professional Field Representative serves as the primary liaison between healthcare providers and Indiana Medicaid, delivering education, resolving issues, and ensuring provider satisfaction. This is a virtual position, but candidates must reside in Indiana to attend conferences, present at events, and visit local providers as needed. The role operates Monday through Friday during business hours in Eastern Time.
Your role in our mission
  • Deliver provider education through scheduled regional workshops and virtual or face-to-face meetings within Wisconsin.
  • Conduct targeted provider training sessions on service-specific topics across the state.
  • Assist healthcare providers in resolving complex billing and policy issues to enhance service delivery.
  • Proactively engage with providers in your region to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with Wisconsin provider associations to resolve issues and represent the program at conventions.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for providers, offering guidance on healthcare programs and policies.

What we're looking for
  • Strong background in working with health insurance plans and/or managed care organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and speak confidently in front of large audiences.
  • Resides in Indiana with the ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare billing and policy is an asset.

The pay range for this position is $54,300.00 - $77,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
