Sr. Director, Marketing – RX Parasiticides

As a key leader within the marketing team, you will lead, develop, and drive all aspects of our brands for the RX Parasiticides category.

Responsibilities
  • Business Ownership: Enables delivery of Elanco P&L for Pet Health and manages budget for RX PARASITICIDES portfolio; identifies and tracks health and performance KPIs for the assigned portfolio; ensures commercial readiness by overseeing the development and execution of plans with brand teams; steers growth initiatives; ensures accuracy of forecasts.
  • Strategy Development: Leads development of strategic plans for the assigned portfolio; creates portfolio strategy for the product group to maximize brand potential, including lifecycle management; leads development of brand plans; collaborates with Pet Health Innovation (US and Global) and R&D to identify opportunities for exponential expansion; exhibits entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to execute.
  • Brand Messaging and Activation: Defines and updates positioning in collaboration with cross‑functional partners; works with vet sales, retail, digital transformation, and agencies to develop integrated marketing campaigns for focus and select defend brands.
  • Insights and Analytics: Applies insights expertise—understands the research needed and works with the Insights COE to action research projects; excels at interpreting research and reports and making strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Managerial: Leverages team diversity to strengthen performance; drives team engagement, provides career growth opportunities, offers constant feedback, and equips the team for long‑term professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing or business management.
  • Strategic brand planning and P&L management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with creativity to identify unique opportunities and willingness to execute.
  • Expertise in actioning research projects and interpreting data to drive business results.
  • Proven ability to lead complex product expansion initiatives and manage product lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in reading and interpreting complex performance reports.
  • Experience collaborating across functions including Innovation, R&D, and Digital Transformation.
