Hybrid Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Durham, NC

Our client seeks a Data Engineer experienced with Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream to support Workplace Investing communications. The role includes designing and developing document composition solutions, configuring workflows, and generating communications at scale. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional partners, adherence to standards and controls, and delivery within Agile teams.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $63.00 to $68.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop applications on sophisticated projects using Quadient Inspire and custom-built applications.
  • Work with XML, JSON, and multi-line variable data record formats.
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot complex workflows.
  • Set up primary workflows to support document template design using Inspire Interactive.
  • Define document blocks and compose document templates using Inspire Interactive.
  • Define Scaler workflows for automatic processing of input data files.
  • Generate emails in HTML or plain text.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Resolve inquiries on input/output requirements, usage, planning, and alignment to controls and quality assurance.
  • Participate in team efforts to standardize processes.
  • Assist with data file analysis.
  • Maintain internal documentation on issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training.
  • Build new templates and manage existing JLD and WFD assets in Quadient.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, BAs, and engineers to meet standards and regulations, perform code reviews, coordinate production installs, and support production.
  • Coordinate with print vendors and apply print process knowledge including sizes and paper-saving solutions.
Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience analyzing, designing, and developing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire versions 11/12/14+.
  • Experience with Inspire Scaler and Interactive modules.
  • Experience composing batch and on-demand communications.
  • Proficiency in Inspire Scripting.
  • Minimum 6 years with Quadient Inspire Designer and recent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years with Quadient ICM and recent experience.
  • Experience with OpenText Exstream is a plus.
  • Print industry experience is a plus.
  • Positive, consultative approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Quadient Inspire Designer Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to complete two remote interviews.
