• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients with diverse mental health needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to client goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, assisting them in navigating personal challenges and enhancing coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, social workers, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health.

As an LPC at HCA Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families who may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and more. Our focus is on offering holistic support to those who may lack access to traditional mental health resources, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and empowerment in the therapeutic process.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Texas Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community mental health setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desired.
• Experience working in a community health setting and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems will be advantageous.
• Proven ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000–90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, successful candidates may receive a substantial sign-on bonus to support the transition into this rewarding role.
