Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at HCA Wellness Center. This full-time role allows you the flexibility to work remotely while providing essential mental health services that promote recovery and wellness for individuals facing life's challenges. With a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually based on your experience, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating positive change in the lives of our clients.

About the Organization

The HCA Wellness Center is a growing private practice that focuses on delivering individualized mental health care to clients in Bakersfield, California, and surrounding areas. Our facility is committed to fostering an environment where certified therapists collaborate to provide research-backed therapy services aimed at improving clients' overall well-being. Joining our practice means becoming part of a passionate team that values compassion, expertise, and the profound impact we can have on each client’s life.

Work Environment

As an LMFT at HCA Wellness Center, you’ll work from a remote office setting that combines convenience with the comfort of a private practice atmosphere. We prioritize creating a supportive and collaborative environment where therapists have the resources they need to thrive. Unlike traditional healthcare facilities, our outpatient office setting allows you to focus on providing therapy tailored to each client individually while managing your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health challenges, develop effective treatment programs, and tailor therapeutic interventions.
  • Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques designed to enhance personal growth and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide teletherapy solutions for clients who prefer virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for those who may have difficulties attending in-person meetings.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed of the latest trends and practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients present a diverse array of issues ranging from trauma and anxiety to relationship challenges and depression. As an LMFT, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in their lives by providing compassionate care that addresses their specific needs. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their emotional struggles and achieve long-term recovery and fulfillment.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field related to mental health.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a secure and trustful therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Strong empathetic abilities with a nonjudgmental outlook toward clients’ diverse experiences and challenges.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience

We would ideally like candidates with at least one year of experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and a demonstrated ability to engage clients in remote settings will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, retirement savings options, and health insurance coverage.
  • Opportunities for advancement, including professional development training focused on addiction recovery and specialized therapy techniques.
  • A collaborative and supportive workplace culture that values continuous learning and mentorship among staff members.
  • The chance to effectuate meaningful changes in clients’ lives, contributing to their recovery journeys and encouraging long-term healthy habits.
  • Access to specialized knowledge and resources regarding treatment methodologies and best practices in mental health care.
Career Growth Opportunities

At HCA Wellness Center, we believe in nurturing talent and helping our employees reach their full potential. You will have access to continued education and training opportunities, enabling you to advance within the practice or pivot into specialized areas of therapy. Leadership roles and clinical supervisor positions may be available for those looking to take on more responsibilities and influence.

Why Join Our Team

Are you a licensed mental health professional eager to make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing challenges such as addiction and relationship issues?
