We are seeking a licensed Stormwater Engineer or Hydrogeologist with at least 3-5 years of experience to join our team and help expand our practice in Washington. This is a great career-building opportunity for someone interested in taking on more responsibility, contributing to business development, and conducting cutting-edge research in the field of stormwater and groundwater management. The ideal candidate will also assist with technical report writing and have strong fieldwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work plans and attending fieldwork documentation, including work plans, QAPPs, and Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs).
  • Direct experience with stormwater and/or groundwater sampling and management of field teams.ย Surface water sampling experience is a plus.
  • Participate in fieldwork as needed to assist with sampling and data collection.
  • Write and review technical reports, ensuring data is validated and conclusions are sound.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to design and implement environmental investigations.
  • Support business development efforts to expand our consulting services in Washington.
  • Sampling and research experience with emerging contaminants is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LG) in the state of Washington (required).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in stormwater management or hydrogeology.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with experience developing QAPPs, SAPs, and field documentation.
  • Fieldwork experience in stormwater, groundwater, or surface water sampling (surface water experience preferred).
  • Experience with ArcGIS (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Python or R (a plus).
  • Data validation experience (a plus).
  • Interest or experience in business development and research is highly desirable.
