We are currently hiring in the following states/jurisdictions: California, District of Columbia (DC), Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington State.
ZG Subpoena Solutions (ZGSS) is a close-knit team of dedicated professionals working collaboratively to design, implement, and manage customized solutions for business processes, such as legal process compliance and third-party requests for access to user data. Our clients rely on us to tackle this critical yet non-revenue-generating work, allowing our clients to focus on providing their customers with outstanding products and services.
We love working here because we like standing at the intersection of user data and law enforcement demands. We are driven to provide better service every day, and we genuinely like being part of a team at the center of the action. Our business is rapidly expanding, and we are eager to capitalize on our continued growth and position as the leader in legal process response solutions.
We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Legal Analyst with strong judgment and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to join our team handling third-party requests for client data. The ideal candidate must be able to sustain focus for extended periods of time, analyze legal requests for user data, and consistently apply policies, rules, and guidelines to ensure appropriate responses while remaining adept at shifting focus and prioritizing tasks when competing demands arise.
What You Will Do:
  • Establish and maintain an understanding of applicable laws associated with uniquely different legal demands for user data through structured and ongoing training.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client policies and workflow procedures, raising questions as needed to facilitate clarity, alignment, and best practices.
  • Respond to requests for client data from law enforcement and other third parties pursuant to client policies, processes, and applicable law.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify, recommend, and implement improvements to both ZGSS internal and client processes, procedures, and policies that add value and drive the success of our clients.
  • Accurately record time worked utilizing both timekeeping systems daily.
  • Manage time effectively and communicate any obstacles to completing assigned tasks.
  • This job description is not all-encompassing. The duties and responsibilities outlined above are intended to provide a general overview of the position.

Who We Are Seeking:
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in the legal or compliance field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to maintain focus for extended periods, to ensure accurate, effective results.
  • Clear communication and active listening skills that encourage the open exchange of ideas and aligning messages with your audience.
  • Capable of building positive, respectful relationships, establishing trust and credibility, and assuming the best intentions in others.
  • Demonstrated resilience in overcoming challenges, staying positive, and recovering from setbacks.
  • Analytical and critical thinker who applies strong judgment to make well-informed decisions.
  • Enhanced self-awareness, welcome feedback, and leverage insights to foster growth and enhance your skills.
  • Willing and able to maturely work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult content.
  • Highly adaptable and organized, skilled at managing shifting priorities while staying focused on key objectives.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, internet technology, and software (Zendesk a plus, but not required).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be willing to apply for a U.S. government security clearance and/or pass a drug test if requested.

What We Provide You:
  • A hybrid or potentially, fully-remote work arrangement
  • Work-life balance, generous PTO (earn up to 15 days annually), and 11 paid holidays
  • Competitive compensation and discretionary bonus
