Our SolutionDevelopers and owners no longer need to run building wiring or install in-unit hardware. Property managers can grant building access, revoke permissions, and review entry logs from an online dashboard. First 90 Days
  • If you start off 100% hunting you will be successful
  • Roughly 50% of your time prospecting and 50% cold calling
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities generated by cold outreach and partner relationships

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within the gated community market
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline without relying heavily on marketing generated leads
  • Sell directly to HOAs, community associations, property managers, developers, and other key decision-makers
  • Navigate complex buying processes involving boards, CAMs/property managers, developers, installers, security teams, and residents
  • Develop relationships with resellers, dealers, installers, and channel partners to generate and close opportunities
  • Partner with internal teams and external partners to create the right solution for each community
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos via zoom and in person as needed
  • Build out and manage a defined territory or market segment
  • Consistently provide accurate pipeline forecasting to sales leadership
  • Close deals within expected sales cycles while maintaining strong urgency and follow-through
  • Establish strong customer relationships and be viewed as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
  • Attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events representing ButterflyMX

Requirements
  • You're an AMAZING storyteller!
  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, property technology, access control, security, smart building technology, or a related field
  • Experience selling to HOAs, community associations, property managers, or residential communities strongly preferred
  • Experience selling into gated communities, master-planned communities, and new residential developments is a major plus
  • Experience working with resellers/dealers or channel partners
  • Proven ability to self-source pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner relationships, referrals, and market development
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Ability to confidently lead discovery, present solutions, handle objections, and drive deals to close
  • Results-driven mindset with a clear focus on revenue outcomes
  • High level of accountability, ownership, and urgency
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, attention to detail, and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to forecast accurately and communicate pipeline status clearly
  • Comfortable moving quickly, managing multiple opportunities, and keeping deals organized from first touch through signature
