Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Gated Community in Ladera Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a community location, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to combine patrol responsibilities with strong customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will deliver with integrity and teamwork each day.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and community activity, assisting with access control practices, visitor interactions, and reports of rule or policy concerns.
  • Support Allied Universal and property management expectations by reporting maintenance-related observations, potential hazards, and/or suspicious activity in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
