The Director of Sales, HVAC will lead and develop a national team of Territory Sales Managers responsible for driving growth within the HVAC contractor and distribution markets. This leader will create and execute sales strategies that accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and support the long-term vision of the HVAC business.

This role is responsible for sales leadership, talent development, territory optimization, performance management, and cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, customer experience, supply chain, and product management teams.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building teams, and has a passion for developing people while delivering measurable business results.

A Typical Day

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers across the United States
  • Establish annual sales objectives and accountability measures that align with company growth goals
  • Drive execution of strategic sales initiatives and market expansion efforts
  • Partner with Territory Sales Managers on customer visits, business reviews, and key account development
  • Develop territory strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and customer retention
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and key performance indicators to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities within the HVAC industry
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop programs that increase customer engagement and drive demand
  • Work closely with operations, customer experience, and supply chain teams to ensure a world-class customer experience
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top-performing sales talent
  • Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
  • Lead sales forecasting, business planning, and budget management activities
  • Serve as a key voice of the customer and market within the organization

To Land This Opportunity

  • 8–12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in HVAC, industrial distribution, building products, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed sales teams
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Experience developing and executing national sales strategies
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and talent development skills

The salary range for this role is $94,301.86 -$ 140,874.95 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
