Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Front-End Game Developer in Netherlands.

This role is centered on building high-quality, production-ready HTML5 slot games that reach millions of players worldwide. You will take full ownership of front-end game implementation, transforming detailed game design, mathematics, art, and audio assets into smooth, interactive gameplay experiences. Working within a modern game framework environment, you will focus on performance, responsiveness, and gameplay integrity across mobile and desktop platforms. The environment is highly autonomous and remote-first, giving you the freedom to manage your workflow while collaborating with global teams. You will work closely with designers, QA specialists, mathematicians, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and polished delivery. This is a hands-on development role where technical precision and creativity directly shape engaging gaming experiences.

Accountabilities
  • Develop full front-end implementation of HTML5 slot games based on provided math models, design documentation, and assets
  • Build and maintain game logic, state systems, transitions, and feature flows across gameplay experiences
  • Integrate UI elements, animations, sound, and visual assets into interactive game environments
  • Implement core mechanics such as reel behavior, bonus features, and gameplay systems
  • Ensure responsive performance across mobile and desktop devices with consistent user experience
  • Optimize game performance, including FPS, memory usage, loading speed, and rendering efficiency
  • Debug issues and support QA teams throughout development, testing, and release cycles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, mathematicians, QA, and backend developers

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development or game development
