At ARRISE, we know a thing or two about making great games. From concept to execution, we combine creativity with technical excellence to shape the future of player engagement, driving our business and industry forward.
Our teams plan, prepare, and produce every title in a packed multi-product roadmap, having created over 1,800 slots to date. Game artists, developers, mathematicians, sound technicians, product marketers, regulatory experts, and other stakeholders from across the business all work together on delivering new player favorites at scale and pace.
ARRISE USA represents our growing footprint in one of the world’s most dynamic tech and entertainment markets. With a remote team of product experts, we’re tapping into American talent to drive the next generation of iGaming innovation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re building a brand-new, US-based, fully remote game studio developing new slot games for the Pragmatic Play ecosystem, and we’re looking for an experienced Game Art Lead to breathe life into standout game themes and help turn them into hits.
In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate with a small multidisciplinary team to lead the visual creative of new games from the ground up with a strong focus on delivering standout themes that become blockbuster games.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Own the game’s visual creative development from start to finish
  • Take a hands-on approach to conceptual development, providing concept art, mockups, and visual prototypes
  • Execute concepts with a dedicated offshore art team, both creating assets yourself (especially when communicating what you expect from the team) and coordinating with the team to deliver assets for development
  • Work closely with the Game Designer and mathematicians to ensure that the game’s visuals meet the established vision for the game and reinforce play style and game mechanics
  • Playtest and iterate on the game’s visual presentation with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible
  • Provide quality control over game art assets and their implementation
  • Collaborate with other Game Art Leads to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement on each other’s games
  • Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
  • 5+ years of experience working in an art ownership capacity defining the visual approach for real-money slot games for iGaming or land-based markets
  • Degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong expertise with Adobe software, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong command of typography, color, composition, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of art styles, even if they are not your personal design style or preference
  • Excellent visual and written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate complex and creative concepts to stakeholders across the globe
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging game mechanics, and player expectations
  • You should:
    • Be able to move comfortably between strategic and detailed levels
    • Bring strong organization and structure to a fast-moving environment
    • Be extremely creative, designing experiences that are intuitive and fun
    • Obsess over detail and refinement
    • Provide, accept, and act on feedback constructively
