They must be nimble at navigating unexpected and frequent changes in direction or trajectory.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Creative Lead on project feedback to help our partner studios succeed in passing milestones, gates, and deadlines to the quality bar expected for approval by:
  • Engaging in proper review, feedback, approval, and communication pipelines
  • Reviewing all gameplay mechanics, systems, assets, milestone builds, and documentation from game studios for brand and qualitative approval
  • Conveying regular feedback in various forms through every phase of the development cycle, depending on the project's needs
  • Aiding studios in maintaining project and gameplay pillars, identity, and conventions to ensure the games feel on brand and elevate our gaming portfolio
  • Being a consistent and reliable resource of brand and gameplay information for the studios we work with
  • Attend regular meetings and sync with game directors, creative leads, gameplay leads, staff, etc.
  • Assist the product manager of individual game projects as they guide submission workflows, deadlines, wider project communication, and team-wide responses to milestones and submissions
  • Internally maintain and communicate consistent conventions and benchmarks for gameplay systems, features, and assets that should be consistently applied across all projects
  • Keep up to date on industry standards and skillsets related to the projects 20th Century Games have on their slate
