Frontend Developer (Angular, UI/UX Designer & Developer)

Location: Vienna (1-2 days on-site per week; otherwise remote)

Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
Workload: 100%
Language: English (must-have), German (nice-to-have)

Our client in the telecommunications sector is running a large-scale modernization and transformation initiative. We are looking for a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX design and implementation. You will not only develop robust Angular applications but also play a leading role in shaping intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces that meet modern design and usability standards.

Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
- Implement scalable frontend applications using Angular and its ecosystem.
- Translate wireframes, mockups, and design concepts into high-quality, functional interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration between design and implementation.
- Advocate for best practices in UI/UX and frontend development, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and frontend technologies.

Your Profile
- Solid professional experience as a Frontend Developer with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx, etc.).
- Strong expertise in UI/UX design: usability, interaction design, and user-centered approaches.
- Proven experience bridging the gap between design and development (UI Designer + UI Developer).
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience in creating responsive, accessible, and visually polished web applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and design sensibility.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
