Description

Our client is seeking a contract Fraud Analyst to assist the fraud department. This role is reviewing fraud alerts to determine if fraudulent activity occurred and if investigations are warranted. Review and disposition all assigned cases, or fraud alerts that may be generated by the Bank’s transaction monitoring and/or screening systems(s) - Verafin • Identify and track current fraud trends by reviewing transaction and account patterns • Research suspicious activity in accordance with applicable procedures and escalate when necessary. • Review and assess customer risk ratings • Perform negative news searches • Assist Auditors and Bank Examiners with inquiries • Review and appropriately act on new, revised, or proposed laws, policies and procedures • Work reports and databases using established policies and procedures • Test and provide feedback on process and system improvements that are based on changing fraud trends and patterns • Work closely with internal functions including Disputes, Recoveries, Customer Service, and Compliance • Monitor consumer transaction and account activity for potentially fraudulent activity, including identity theft, kiting, account take-over, friendly fraud, and other identified risks

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
