Description

This position can be located in Columbus, OH, Akron, OH, or Minnetonka, MN.

Summary:

Manages through section supervisors and/or subordinate managers, multiple functions or an area which is comprised of professional and clerical staff. Implements new policies and procedures to make the area more efficient and in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions. Resolves issues that are strategic or compliance related. Completes strategic planning and budget for the area. Monitors, analyzes and reports on the area productivity to senior management. Establishes quality of service level for the area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple functions within the fraud prevention area.

  • Implement policies and procedures for operational efficiency.

  • Act as liaison between departments and divisions.

  • Resolve strategic and compliance-related issues.

  • Conduct strategic planning and budgeting.

  • Monitor and report on productivity.

  • Establish service quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected category.

  • Manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, demonstrating proven business-writing skills.

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve complex issues/problems, exhibiting informal/formal leadership, mentoring, and training skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.

  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk related experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all businesses.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Compensation Range:

57,000.00 - 113,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
