Business Development Manager:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Business Development Manager for a permanent role. This position is a remote with travel within the United States.
Business Development Manager - Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to expand the Insulation and Components portfolio across North America. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to drive growth and strengthen market position.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with front-end sales teams and customers
• Understand customer needs and deliver tailored, value-added solutions
• Conduct market research to track industry trends and assess the competitive landscape
• Meet and exceed sales targets, reporting regularly on performance and activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and drive execution
• Represent company with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
Business Development Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
• Strong understanding of the transformer services industry and market dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to build rapport with customers and cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with a strategic, results-oriented mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 50-60%
