JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
This role is responsible for communicating directly with our prospects and customers to ensure a first-class brand experience for our constituents. This role starts conversations and provokes prospective decision makers into action while handling objections and closing on calls-to-action. They will do this via phone calls, e-mail, social media and potentially other channels. This role works in both B2B and B2C areas.
This role connects USA Football to its constituents, including commissioners, coaches, parents and/or players in that area. The purpose of the role is to help generate awareness, qualify, deliver value and/or generate commitments for our various products, programs and events.
This role will also help connect our users with in-person and virtual experiences to help them elevate their experience within football or provide more in-depth consulting.
This position will be responsible for creating and building meaningful relationships with constituents, as well as building trust and credibility on behalf of USA Football while serving these audiences
Essential Functions

  • Performs activities to meet established sales and revenue metrics on products and programs.
  • Prioritize prospect list each day, based on inbound, outbound, targeted and behavioral targets.
  • As appropriate by audience, provide sales presentations and information on value of offerings. Listen to feedback and refine sales techniques to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate via calls, voicemails, meetings, email, text, chat tools, social and video as needed.
  • Maintain accurate sales data in CRM (Salesforce.com) and update activity and information in Salesforce or proprietary database as appropriate and identify new prospects. Help build contact and lead lists in Salesforce.com as necessary by product, program or event.
  • Help qualify youth football organizations, maintain an accurate database of existing accounts and properly managing the opportunity pipeline – all in Salesforce.com.
  • Drive attendance to National Team Development Program Events
  • Support specific product team and activations, from youth leagues and coaches to our National Team Development Program
  • Handle customer service needs and requirements
  • Stay up to date on USA Football products, programs and initiatives and communicates them to the constituents and gathers feedback and insights to help identify and/or build new resources and provide resources, videos, tools and more to help educate audience.
  • Support customer service needs as appropriate, often through sales process and provide messaging/video content for social media, content or email initiatives.

Job Requirements
  • Previous sales internship(s) to 1+ year sales experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM solution preferred
  • High level of comfort prospecting and engaging new customers and prospects
  • Comfort with metric transparency and performance evaluations based on activity
  • Preferably: Understanding and knowledge of football
  • Participate in on-going coaching and training
  • Limited Travel to Meetings and Events
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other area
Supervisory Responsibility
This role may supervise interns or work with contractors.
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending and manual dexterity.

This is a Full-Time remote position.
