Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and guide them towards healing.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for all patients.
  • Respond to crises and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensure: Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
