• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and guide them towards healing.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for all patients.
• Respond to crises and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and recovery processes, empowering them to access available resources effectively.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential documentation to adhere to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and discuss best practices in trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are in various stages of trauma recovery. This includes clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The therapeutic interventions you provide will focus on fostering resilience and empowering clients to cope with their situations effectively, enhancing their overall mental health and quality of life.

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
• Technical proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as other computer applications is expected.

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on trauma therapy is preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions, showcasing their ability to support diverse client needs sensitively and effectively.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
