Job description

Job Opening: Equipment Operator

Pay: $25.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. This position requires travel and the ability to work on job sites for extended periods.

Position Requirements

This is a travel-required position. Employees must be willing to remain on job sites for up to seven (7) consecutive days. Due to weather conditions, some projects may experience downtime, requiring flexibility in scheduling and work assignments.

Job Responsibilities

Equipment Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy equipment used to complete project work, including:

  • Tractors
  • Loaders
  • Haybusters
  • Crimpers
  • Skid steers
  • Other equipment and implements as assigned

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs.
  • Work closely with crew members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment in clean, safe operating condition.

Qualifications

  • Previous heavy equipment operating experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (training will be provided if needed).
  • CPR certification preferred (training will be provided if needed).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel and stay on location for up to seven consecutive days.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and dependability.
