Job description

MasterTech is on the search for Field Mechanics in Elko, NV.

The successful Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized heavy-duty equipment both in the shop and at large and exhilarating job sites. We are looking for a range of experience working on mining, earth moving, and drilling equipment.

Compensation:
  • $30.00 - $70.00/hour based on experience.
  • Relocation assistance and sign on bonuses available.
  • 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with life, and AD&D insurance.
  • 401k retirement plan, match up to 6%
  • Per diem options, up to $150.00/day.
  • $300.00 monthly tool allowance
  • Weekly pay.
Shift Schedule Options:
  • 10 on 4 off
  • 9 on 5 off
  • 8 on 6 off
  • Fly-In-Fly-Out options including 14 on 7 off, 20 on 10 off, etc.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software.
  • Experience with welding and fabrication.
  • Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license with clean record. CDL, or able to obtain one.
  • Full set of tools.
MT1
