Job Location: Cleveland, OH or Farmington, MI

Work Schedule: On-site or hybrid or Remote candidate located in a smaller town/city, such as those in Missouri, Alabama, Kansas, Montana, etc

Salary: $150k Based on experience.

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the company''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, supports business growth, and partners with leadership to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Manage external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Partner with FP&A and business leaders on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Support revenue recognition, financial systems and process automation initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team while driving operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of accounting experience including management responsibilities of a small team
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Experience with Netsuite (ideally) or other ERP systems, Ramp and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting telecoms, hardware technology, ย networking or manufacturing industries experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
