Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join our ever-evolving Accounting & Finance team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you'll own

  • Performs technical accounting research (e.g. revenue recognition, business combinations, lease accounting, stock compensation, software, etc.). Responsible for documenting accounting conclusions in accounting memos as necessary.

  • Assists in the preparation of all internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP

  • Participates in the audit process by coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation

  • Assists in the development and implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements

  • Keeps up to date with new accounting and reporting standards and estimates the impact of new accounting standards or changes in accounting principles on the Company's financial statements

  • Consults with business management on accounting matters

  • Plays a key role in the monthly and quarterly close processes

  • Participates in third party valuations for business combinations and assists with accounting for business combinations

  • Participates in special projects to ensure financial accounting, reporting and company-wide operational issues are properly identified and addressed

  • Participates in annual goodwill impairment assessment

  • Works closely with all financial and operational staff to ensure effective communication

  • Liaises with the Company's tax and finance department and external consultants

  • Performs ad hoc analysis as needed

  • 5+ years of experience with technical accounting and financial reporting

  • CPA preferred

  • Thorough understanding of GAAP
