This position will provide overall strategy and leadership for several significant foodservice distributor customers including Sysco, Gordon, and the Non-Commercial Segment (i.e.: Aramark, Sodexho). This leader will have direct functional leadership and responsibility for Sysco HQ, located in Houston TX.

Partner will lead multiple sales partners to meet customer's needs and achieve targeted objectives to ensure volume and variable income growth within the framework of Service, Product and Pricing Architectures. This is achieved thru strong relationships and aligning customer's strategies with Schreiber initiatives. This position will own the responsibility of leading the team through competitive business scenarios, growth of the business, and pursuit of business objectives under the US Growth and Impact Plan. Partner in this position is Process Performer of: Voice of Customer, Pricing Management, Profitability Performance, Freight Performance, Volume and VI Growth, Broker Management, Onboarding & Training partners, and indirect leadership of cross functional work teams.

Based in Green Bay, WI or a remote home office location, this leader will have direct responsibility of the largest foodservice distributor customer, Sysco HQ. Partner will work jointly on business planning, strategic direction, deep rooted relationship, and profitability of the customer.

What you'll do:

  • Develop accountability goals to achieve individual, team, organizational and customer priorities. This position has governance responsibility to ensure that progress is on track to achieve agreed upon goals. Provide leadership and coaching to team members to ensure continued growth and development.
  • Gain an understanding of the customer's strategies for growth and link individual and team goals to ensure a strong partnership with the customer. Influence the advancement of business opportunities at the customer. Proactively develop customer relationships at all levels within customer organizations. Lead the team in deploying product, price and services (Architectures) by customer to maximize the return for Schreiber.
  • Drive broad organizational impact, communication & influence across all functional areas, deep and strategic ownership of customers, and ability to consistently create and drive forward-thinking initiatives.
  • Attend customer business planning sessions, conferences, special events, broker meetings, industry events, etc. to build a long-term partnership between the customer and Schreiber.
  • Lead project teams, present recommendations, and gain commitment on key initiatives within the area of business or organization.
  • Complete administrative workflow requirements necessary for business purposes (expense reports, status change forms, performance goals and assessments, etc.).
  • Represents sales in various cross-functional teams to promote Customer Obsessed pillar while resolving and improving systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate belief in Process Excellence and adapt to new work processes.
  • Owns their individual development as well as the development for each member of their team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, management, or related field.
  • Passion for foodservice and ability to form deep and trusted relationships at all levels within the customer.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation, discipline, and selling knowledge.
  • Analytical, strategic, Creative, and flexible.
  • Ability to plan/prioritize and follow-up.
  • Ability to determine financial impact of decisions/programs is a must.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
