Position Overview

Bridge To Recovery Institute is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly work as a clinician with assigned clients, facilitating therapeutic interventions for individuals exhibiting symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
  • Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments, integrating additional referral services as needed for comprehensive treatment.
  • Create and implement individualized care plans that ensure clients have access to appropriate linked services, actively involving family and external providers in care discussions.
  • Provide a spectrum of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Monitor client progress through regular meetings, addressing admission, treatment, and discharge criteria while ensuring all services are aligned with client goals.
  • Actively participate in crisis intervention as required to ensure immediate and effective support for clients facing critical challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, utilizing strong communication skills to achieve shared goals and enhance service quality.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies to foster a safe and effective treatment environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on diverse populations, including individuals grappling with addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and emotional challenges. Understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds, traditions, and personal beliefs is essential in providing effective therapy and cultivating a trusting clinician-client relationship.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) status in the state of Florida.
  • Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment methodologies, crisis management, and risk assessment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation and client interaction.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities, allowing for efficient management of client caseload.
  • Demonstrated competency in addressing age-specific and culturally relevant issues for the populations served.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, ideally within a mental health or substance abuse setting.
  • Experience in creating and implementing integrated treatment plans and working collaboratively within a team-based framework.
