About the role

As a new Sales Manager for TQL, you will be leading a mid-to-large team of highly motivated logistics sales representatives, responsible for driving revenue and providing unmatched service to our customers. This is a highly competitive, transactional sales industry, that requires a 24/7 mentality, quick decision making, and incredible customer service to be successful. Historically we promote managers internally, but our rapid growth and expansion has created an opportunity for a highly driven sales leader to join TQL.

What you’ll be doing
  • Driving revenue through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps
  • Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training entry-level sales reps
  • Assisting sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue
  • Holding the team accountable for daily activity and resultsEnsuring employees maintain the highest level of integrity
  • Coordinating the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business
  • Occasional travel to meet with prospects and customers
  • Monitoring sales reports, acting as needed, and communicating trends and market conditions to senior leadership
  • Working with the Learning and Development department to help maintain and continuously enhance sales training programs
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of sales management experience; preferably leading a team of 10+
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Transportation or business services industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and motivate others
  • Ability to be on call 24/7/365
  • Open to relocation throughout your career if needed
  • Capable of providing strong professional references - customer, superior, peer and direct report
