A Remote Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, operations, and efficiency of physical facilities from a remote location. They coordinate with on-site staff, vendors, and service providers to ensure buildings, equipment, and infrastructure meet safety and performance standards. Their responsibilities may include budgeting, scheduling maintenance, implementing operational policies, and using technology to monitor facility conditions. To excel as a Remote Facilities Manager, you need experience in facilities management, strong organizational skills, and typically a bachelor's degree in facility management or a related field.
