Tasks may include database administration, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, applying patches, and optimizing system performance. Remote Exadata roles require strong knowledge of Oracle databases and Exadata architecture, as well as expertise in remote management tools. Communication and problem-solving skills are also essential, as most interactions will be virtual.

  • Evaluate new Exadata features Oracle releases and third-party tools, and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Develop and maintain capacity-planning models, cost analyses and lifecycle roadmaps for database infrastructure
  • Own the development and maintenance of runbooks, playbooks and knowledge-base articles for self-service
  • Participate in cross-team post-incident reviews and continuous improvement activities.
