Job Title : Oracle DBA
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 6 months and may get extended
Administering day to day operational support for Production database Environment on Oracle Area.
Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day operational support of test and production database environments
Performs analysis, develops, tests, and implements complex physical database infrastructures in support of business application requirements
Trains user groups on procedures and standards
Performs related duties as assigned or requested
Possession of skills in core database management areas including:
Database Administration (9i, 10g, 11g.12c)
DBMS Object Management
RAC, ASM migrations
Database Backup and Recovery Management by using RMAN
Oracle utilities like Datapump, Export/Import, tkprof, StatsPack, AWR and ADDM report generation.
Dataguard/Standby Database setup and maintenance
Database Migrations/Upgrades
Oracle Database /SQL performance tuning
Database Operations
DBMS Standards Management
Oracle on Linux/Solaris/AIX experience
