Job description

Long Term Contract

Title: Events Content & Speaker Coordinator

Pay Rate: $33-37/hour

Location: Remote, with some travel

Schedule: M-F, standard shift

Responsibilities:

  • Administer speakers and presentation content for events
  • Multitask and manage concurrent processes across multiple programs that are in different stages
  • Coach presentation delivery that meets audience presentation expectations
  • Provide input to overarching event design with alignment to current strategy
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and adhere to program development timelines

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Curious, critical thinker and self-starter who is process and solutions-oriented
  • Effective communicator and collaborator who is organized and attentive to detail
  • Experience in event programming, virtual events, and/or speaker management, a plus
  • Easily adaptable with experience working in fast-paced remote environments
  • Proven ability leading projects and completing deliverables independently
  • Ability to troubleshoot platforms and systems + proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work after hours, weekends, and travel up to 20% of the time
