Job description

Utilize advanced knowledge of business analytics to manage project management activities for assigned functional areas. Coordinate, prioritize, negotiate and manage the execution of assigned projects and contracts. Collaborate with business management to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken. Use knowledge of Data Analysis and Statistical Analysis to forecast project success, cost savings and streamlining processes. Perform feasibility needs analysis to determine project timelines and manage the analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication, and integration of project plans. Interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make business decisions utilizing knowledge of financial acumen. Approve business workflow and project design, and assess business needs, project manager capabilities, and available project budgets. Lead complex or large project teams in the development of a project FMEA and 9-box project risk summary. Manage the project managers and delegate project assignments based on availability, ability and developmental needs. Help project managers assess project risk through use of quality tools including Six Sigma methodologies and Fault Tree analysis and coach project managers in alternatives, solutions, and change management approaches. Solicit and organize customer requirements utilizing Voice of the Customer (VOC). Manage and track the status of project deliverables using knowledge of Scope Management. Manage the connections between multiple levels of scope detail in related additional documents. Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. Work with business and functional leaders to define tangible and measureable business outcomes and to lead the program achieving those business outcomes. Manage the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline. Identify, track, and work with others to resolve project issues; monitor and communicate project status to project team. Document and share team learnings with other teams and draw on other project team experience to enhance success of the project. Ensure that project documentation is complete and monitor, measure, and communicate with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments. Develop resource (expense and headcount) plans using project resource management processes to manage resources effectively. Define and track relevant metrics to gauge health of project utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
