As an ISV Technical Alliance Manager, you will help build and strengthen strategic relationships with independent software vendors across global markets.
You'll combine technical knowledge, product thinking, and business development skills to create joint solutions and accelerate technology adoption.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, alliances, marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
You'll translate partner requirements into actionable opportunities, develop compelling technical materials, and help bring joint solutions to market.
Your work will influence how partners build with open-source technologies and how customers access secure, validated solutions across cloud and edge environments.

Accountabilities
  • Build and develop relationships with independent software vendors and their product, engineering, alliance, and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to align on open-source technology strategies and identify opportunities for joint solutions.
  • Capture partner requirements, assess technical and product gaps, and translate findings into actionable business opportunities.
  • Influence alliance partners to adopt and build with relevant open-source and platform technologies.
  • Drive technology adoption within assigned partner accounts by clearly communicating technical and commercial value.
  • Work with partners to develop enablement programs for their engineering, delivery, support, and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate with internal product, engineering, alliance, and marketing teams to align product roadmaps, messaging, content, and launch plans.
  • Develop partner- and customer-facing assets, including reference architectures, joint blueprints, presentations, webinars, videos, and white papers.
  • Support the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for joint offerings and technology solutions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for audiences ranging from individual contributors to C-suite executives.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring partner initiatives progress from concept through delivery and launch.
  • Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and other partner engagements.
  • Travel internationally, up to approximately 25% of the time, to strengthen partnerships and participate in internal events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong academic track record or a compelling alternative career and learning path demonstrating exceptional ability.
  • Experience in software development and/or system architecture, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Customer-facing experience in software engineering, product management, business development, technology strategy, consulting, or a similar function.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in technology partnerships, alliances, and business development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical specialists, business stakeholders, and senior executives.
