Renewed Heartfelt Healing Therapy is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team in a remote setting. This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a dynamic community health clinic. You will be part of a collaborative team of professionals who are passionate about mental health care, yet you will also have the independence to manage your schedule and conduct sessions in a way that best accommodates your clients’ needs, including evening and weekend hours as required.

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and resources available to them.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed therapy.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans, establishing clear therapeutic goals and interventions that address client-specific issues.
• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Conduct crisis intervention sessions when necessary, including risk assessments and the creation of safety plans to support clients in distress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, fostering a supportive community for clients to share experiences and learn new coping strategies.

The therapist will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and family units from various backgrounds. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to various clinical presentations, ensuring that therapy is relevant and effective for each unique situation. You will be integral in supporting clients navigating issues such as communication difficulties, emotional distress, behavioral challenges, and trauma recovery.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills demonstrating an ability to build rapport with clients.

• At least two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, providing therapy to clients.
• Background with crisis intervention strategies and risk assessment protocols.
• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
