• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance use histories and associated mental health concerns.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies tailored to individuals' unique needs.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other effective methodologies to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow treatment providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and residential staff, to ensure holistic care for each client.
• Engage and educate clients' families to foster a supportive recovery environment at home.
• Document all client interactions diligently in a secure electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.

You will primarily work with clients who are navigating the complexities of substance use disorders, many of whom also face co-occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety or depression. Our diverse clientele ranges from young adults seeking to eliminate substance dependency to older adults pursuing healthier lifestyles, which requires a flexible and compassionate approach to care.

• A valid professional license, including but not limited to LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Expertise in addiction counseling, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate clients through therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

• Previous experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and digital communication tools utilized in remote counseling.
• Training in trauma-informed care approaches that can aid in delivering sensitive support to diverse populations.
