Job description

Associate Account Executive

We're building a company to tackle some of our biggest social problems through a mix of creativity, inclusiveness, and intelligent software. We want to change how people, organizations, supply chains, and governments measure and manage positive social impact, sustainability, environmental social governance (ESG), and meaningful work. If that sounds nice we'd love to have you be a part of it.

We're looking for a EMEA-based, entrepreneurial, resourceful, driven, and strategic Associate Account Executive who can help us build important industry relationships and coalitions, assist with prospecting and lead generation, foster strategic relationships, and evangelize our platform and mission. This is an ideal early role for an aspiring sales, business development, and partnerships leader or professional, and an opportunity to work closely with the CEO and product team to improve product-market fit and customer/partner relationships.

It's also a great opportunity to learn and become an expert in ESG (environmental social governance), sustainability, and positive social impact - themes that are gaining increasing cultural relevance and mindshare among companies.

You'll be expected to assist with and be a part of sales and deal conversations end-to-end, including prospecting, meetings, relationship-building, discovery and needs analysis, customer development, and working with leadership to help close and build successful partnerships.

Who You Are (What We're Looking For):

  • 1-2 years of sales, business development, or corporate partnerships experience.
  • Passion for social impact, environmental sustainability, ESG, and climate action.
  • Should be based in the EMEA region and have the right to work in your country of residence.
  • Strong persuasive communication and public speaking skills.
  • Multi-lingual candidate who is fluent in English. Strong preference given to candidates who speak one or more other European languages (Swedish, Danish, German, Swiss German, and French are high-priority languages for us at the moment).
  • An interest in building a career in sales, business development, partnerships, or philanthropy.
  • You're social, a thoughtful communicator, and a natural networker.
  • You're competitive, organized, and self-disciplined. You're not afraid of monthly goals, new challenges, and learning opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to advance through learning paths, or resourceful enough to create and invent your own.
  • Cold calling, sales training, partnerships work, and/or Hubspot CRM experience are a plus (Salesforce ok too; they're fairly similar).
  • You love to learn, try new things, and thrive on being challenged.
  • You pay attention to detail and hold high standards for yourself and the quality of the work you deliver.

Perks:

  • Support an early-stage, growing, international social enterprise.
  • Work fully remote from anywhere.
  • Worldwide healthcare benefits through SafetyWing
  • Mental health support with Spill
  • Opportunity to work cross-functionally with the product team and company leadership and learn how our startup works and inform what our engineers build.
  • Flexible remote (European) hours
  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • Have a real positive impact on the world - we're not just reading the news, we're trying to shape and create good news.

Sound good? Great, let's build something amazing together.
