Job Title: Software Developer (Developer/Programmer Analyst 3)

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

Optimized Technical Solutions (OTS) is seeking highly skilled Software Developers to join our team in supporting the modernization and enhancement of mission-critical financial and reporting applications. This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance solutions using modern Microsoft technologies, including .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and Oracle databases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement a modern reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0 and Blazor.
  • Analyze, optimize, and enhance existing Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance financial system solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
  • Provide innovative solutions to modernize legacy systems in alignment with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with SDLC, Entity Framework, Oracle (PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning), and design principles.
  • 6+ years of experience with Blazor Server/WSM and Fluent UI.
  • 5+ years of experience with Bitbucket, Nomad, and Consul.
  • 2+ years of experience with .NET 8.0/9.0, C#, and Visual Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work within SCRUM/Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence, and similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Texas State Agencies or government environments (3+ years preferred).

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by OTS.
