This role will perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function. Review requirements documents and validate discrepancies or missing information. Consult with assigned operational areas to support business requirements, goals and metrics. Ensure timely configuration and implementation of selected solutions either by directly completing the solution or providing specifications and/or instructions for completion of the solution. Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations that are associated with assigned duties and responsibilities.
Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of the Facets database and supporting applications. Train new resources and act as a mentor to guide them through the configuration process.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ability to demonstrate the core values for UHOne - Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation, and Performance
  • Loading new industry codes into Facets tables
  • Updating industry code information residing in Facets
  • WorkFlow updates related to industry code updates
  • Monitor Business Configuration queues and resolve code issues
  • CES policy updates and configuration
  • Design new configuration to support business needs and functionality
  • Accurately create, update, implement and test configuration changes
  • Accurately document changes and communicate changes with the business
  • Analyze business requirements, test plans, training materials and procedure documents
  • Create and execute test plans and test case scenarios to ensure requirements are being met
  • Troubleshoot claims and Helpdesk issues related to configuration and pricing
  • Create and maintain configuration related to provider data
  • Run and/or Participate in development of detail design and system walk through with respective teams to verify design & solution meet business and system requirements
  • Monitor, research, and resolve help tickets
  • Work in an Agile environment to create and work User Stories and Tasks from analysis through implementation ensuring needs are captured and delivered
  • Interact with business leaders and users, including external partners and customers as required. Maintain professional, service-oriented relationships
  • Determine severity of problems and the need to escalate to management
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Lead and/or Participate in special projects and committees as assigned
  • Mentors and coaches for the development of others and actively pursues opportunities for enhanced knowledge on Facets and supporting applications.
  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations
  • Follow the Organization's published privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information
  • Ability to work in quickly and efficiently in an environment where priorities and tasks may shift
  • Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
  • Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation
  • Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
  • Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
  • Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business unit
  • Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
  • Cross train to learn new configuration
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Facets Configuration experience
  • 3+ years of business process or data analysis experience, in healthcare
  • 2+ years of business process analysis experience preferably in healthcare (i.e. documenting business process, gathering requirements) or claims payment/analysis experience
  • Previously worked or are currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
  • A broad knowledge of Configuration and Data Management principles and processes
  • Troubleshoot claims and Helpdesk issues related to configuration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and SQL
  • Structured testing experience
  • Experience with Rally or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management
  • Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of managed care information systems and experience in benefits, pricing, contracting or claims
  • Provider Reimbursement methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and SQL

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management daily

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
