About the Role:
As an IT Operations Intern, you will support the day-to-day technical and operational activities that keep Precision running. Reporting to the ITIL Operations Manager, you`ll assist with IT service requests, documentation, system monitoring, and process improvement initiatives. You`ll collaborate with internal teams and gain exposure to IT service management practices, tools, and workflows.
This role works closely with IT operations, technical services, and business stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and well-documented. You`ll learn how structured IT processes contribute to efficiency, client success, and overall business performance, while developing practical skills that translate directly into future IT roles.
Required Experience:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and common workplace technology
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow documented processes
  • Reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely during the summer internship period

Helpful Experience:
  • Experience with ticketing systems, documentation tools, or collaboration platforms
  • Basic troubleshooting experience (school projects, labs, or prior internships)
