Remote Immersive Media information

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in remote immersive media roles?

Professionals in remote immersive media roles often encounter challenges related to collaboration and communication, as projects typically require input from multidisciplinary teams such as designers, developers, and project managers. Working remotely can make it harder to coordinate real-time feedback and maintain creative synergy. Additionally, troubleshooting immersive technologies like VR/AR hardware or software can be more complex without in-person support. Staying updated on rapidly evolving platforms and ensuring compatibility across devices are also ongoing challenges. However, many teams leverage collaborative tools and regular virtual meetings to foster effective teamwork and overcome these obstacles.

What is remote immersive media?

Remote Immersive Media professionals are specialists who design, develop, or manage media experiences that use technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) from remote locations. They create digital environments or interactive content that can be accessed and interacted with by users from anywhere in the world, often for purposes such as entertainment, education, training, or marketing. These professionals often collaborate with clients and teams virtually, leveraging cloud-based tools and platforms to deliver immersive experiences without being physically present. Their roles can include content creation, technical development, project management, and user experience design.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote immersive media specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Immersive Media Specialist, you need expertise in interactive media design, 3D modeling, and virtual/augmented reality concepts, often supported by a degree in digital media or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, VR/AR hardware, and multimedia editing software, along with relevant certifications, is highly valuable. Strong communication, creative problem-solving, and self-motivation are essential soft skills for collaborating remotely and delivering engaging user experiences. These skills and qualities are crucial for effectively creating, managing, and optimizing immersive content in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Job description

Join Our Vision: We are building the next generation of Spatial Media - a new way people experience videos through interaction, multi-user presence, haptics, AI, and immersive storytelling.
DeoVR is the leading immersive streaming technology serving multiple enterprise customers and millions of users globally.
We are now expanding the boundaries of what video can be - moving from passive watching to active, interactive, multi-user journeys.
If this excites you more than it scares you, you are in the right place.
The Role
We're looking for a Creator Retention & Relationship Manager to own the post-acquisition lifecycle of immersive content creators across US and EU markets. This role is focused on ensuring creators successfully onboard, stay active, grow their audience, and evolve into long-term partners and advocates of the DeoVR ecosystem.
This is not just about managing relationships - it is about building a scalable creator success system that drives retention, engagement, and creator-led growth across the platform.
What You Will Do
  • Guide creators from onboarding to first upload, first payout, and full activation on the platform
  • Build and optimize onboarding flows, educational materials, FAQs, and live support touchpoints
  • Own creator retention metrics (D30 / D90 / D180) and proactively manage lifecycle health
  • Identify at-risk or inactive creators and run structured reactivation and win-back campaigns
  • Act as the primary contact for creators, especially premium and high-potential partners
  • Run regular 1:1s, check-ins, and structured growth reviews with creators
  • Design and execute co-marketing campaigns with creators across US and EU markets
  • Build and scale a Creator Ambassador Program and support creator-led growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain an active creator community space to drive engagement and advocacy
  • Collect and synthesize creator feedback and bring insights to Product, Content, and Leadership teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisition, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Content Review teams to improve end-to-end creator experience
What We Are Looking For
  • Relevant experience in creator economy, content platforms, social media, or digital media ecosystems
  • Experience in creator partnerships, community management, customer success, or lifecycle and retention-focused roles
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with retention, engagement, and growth metrics
  • Ability to structure processes and operate effectively in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with creators globally
  • Fluency in English (B2 and above)
Bonus Points
  • Experience with VR, immersive media, or 3D/video platforms
  • Experience building creator programs, ambassador systems, or community ecosystems
  • Experience working across multiple markets (US, EU, Asia)
What Success Looks Like
  • In 30 days: You've spoken with every active premium creator. You've shipped the first version of the creator onboarding handbook.
  • In 90 days: D30 creator retention has measurably improved. The creator community space is active and used regularly. You've launched your first co-marketing campaign with at least 5 creators participating in joint promotion. You've also resolved at least 3 key creator experience or process pain points.
  • In 6 months:
    • Creators see DeoVR as a platform that invests in them, not just a distribution channel
    • Premium creator count and per-creator activity are both growing
    • Creator-led external exposure (social mentions, referral videos, UGC) becomes a consistent acquisition channel
    • The DeoVR Creator Ambassador Program is live, with at least 10 core creators onboarded
Hiring Process
  • HR Screening (30 min)
  • Team Interview (30 min)
  • Case task (2-4 hours)
  • HM Interview (30 min)
  • CEO Interview (30 min)
