Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Designer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed and modeling of metal and wood parts using 3D CAD software. Detailing/design as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include working across departments, interacting with our vendors, and producing detailed designs and drawings for customizable consoles and control room solutions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Detail and Model Products using 3D and 2D CAD software
  • Assist with file management in AutoDesk VAULT
  • Review and modify designs collaboratively to reduce production deficiencies
  • Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
  • Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex projects

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solidworks (10 years + work experience)
  • Familiarity with designing with sheet metal and/or woodworking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with CAD or other related software and ability to learn new programs
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
