We are seeking an intern to support our EAP Program to join our Headquarters (HQ) team! This internship will start during the Fall 2026 semester.
This is an unpaid internship for current college students needing to complete internship hours for course completion.
The intern will provide short- and long-term therapy to adults, present psychoeducational workshops on wellness topics, and provide critical incident support.
ESSENTIAL INTERNSHIP FUNCTIONS: Can include some or all of the following:
  • Will support clinical functions and operations within the Employee Assistance Network (EAN).
  • Provides telephonic intake and case management, including referrals to other counseling and work-life resources to participants utilizing the EAP benefit.
  • May provide auxiliary services to EAP clients, including crisis management (CISM) support.
  • Learns and supports consultation to managers and supervisors related to sensitive employee matters.
  • Maintains knowledge of developments and trends in the Employee Assistance/Work-Life industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be a college student pursuing a bachelor's or master's in social work or a related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the essential duties of this internship, the intern is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The intern is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
