Job description

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Provider Contracting & Client Success Manager to oversee payer negotiation projects and support healthcare clients in optimizing reimbursement outcomes. This role combines contract negotiation, project management, and client relationship management to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in navigating healthcare payer relationships, and motivated by delivering measurable financial improvements for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Management

  • Manage a portfolio of client engagement projects from onboarding through completion
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and status updates
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, and payer representatives
  • Ensure all projects progress efficiently and meet established milestones
  • Provide clients with regular progress reports, insights, and recommendations

Contract Negotiation & Reimbursement Strategy

  • Initiate and manage communication with insurance payers through phone, email, provider portals, and written correspondence
  • Prepare negotiation proposals supported by reimbursement analysis and market data
  • Review fee schedules, contract language, and reimbursement methodologies
  • Advocate for improved reimbursement rates and favorable contract terms
  • Support strategic initiatives related to Medicare allowable rates and market benchmarking
  • Maintain accurate records of negotiation activity, outcomes, and supporting documentation

Reporting & Operations

  • Track project metrics, negotiation progress, and reimbursement outcomes
  • Maintain organized documentation for reporting, invoicing, and compliance purposes
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting processes, and client experience
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic contracting initiatives and operational improvements

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in healthcare contracting, payer negotiations, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with experience reviewing reimbursement data and fee schedules
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM or project management tools


Preferred

  • Experience working with Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P), DME, or other specialty healthcare sectors
  • Familiarity with Medicare fee schedules and commercial payer reimbursement methodologies
  • Knowledge of healthcare contract terminology and negotiation strategy
  • Experience using business intelligence or reporting tools
