This enables organizations to build better, safer AI faster.
What is a SkillBridge Program?
The SkillBridge Program is a D.o.D initiative that helps service members transition from active-duty military service to civilian careers.
Who we're looking for
We're seeking a motivated transitioning veteran to join our marketing team as a Marketing Intern through the SkillBridge program. This role is ideal for a professional with public affairs experience who is passionate about writing, content generation, research, and contributing to marketing strategy. You'll work closely with our marketing and public relations teams to amplify Latent AI's mission, showcase our cutting-edge physical AI solutions, and engage with both commercial and developer communities. This internship is for training and professional development only. The service member will not displace civilian employees and will work under close supervision of Latent AI's marketing team.
What you'll do
  • Marketing Campaigns: Contribute to developing marketing campaign concepts, including brainstorming ideas and creating content for multi-channel initiatives that highlight Latent AI's edge AI solutions.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content for campaign assets, blogs, newsletters, and press releases that showcase the impact of edge AI for defense and commercial applications.
  • Email Nurture: Assist in crafting email nurture sequences to engage leads (e.g., developers, defense professionals), emphasizing personalized, value-driven messaging aligned with Latent AI's brand.
  • Social Media: Support social media efforts by creating posts for platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter/X, ensuring campaign messaging resonates with target audiences and reflects Latent AI's innovative voice.
  • Partner Marketing Efforts: Support partner marketing initiatives by assisting with campaign concepts, creating joint content (e.g., co-branded blogs, case studies), and developing sales enablement materials (e.g., one-pagers, pitch decks) to showcase collaborative edge AI solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure content accurately reflects Latent AI's innovative technology and resonates with target audiences.

How we decide
  • Eligibility: Must be a transitioning service member eligible for the SkillBridge program.
  • Experience: Background in public affairs, communications, journalism, or a related field, with strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts (e.g., edge AI, machine learning) into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
    • Familiarity with AI writing tools (e.g., Jasper, Grammarly, or similar) to support campaign content, email, social, and partner material creation is a plus.
    • Basic understanding of marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media, or partner marketing (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Twitter/X) is a plus, with a willingness to learn.
    • Strong research and analytical skills to support data-driven campaign ideas, content, and partner strategies.
    • Strong research and analytical skills to support data-driven marketing strategies.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Attributes: Creative, curious, and eager to learn, with an interest in AI, technology, or defense industries. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) is a bonus.

What we offer
  • Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience in content marketing and public relations within the innovative field of edge AI, working on projects that impact defense and commercial sectors.
  • Mentorship: Receive guidance from experienced marketing and AI professionals dedicated to supporting your transition to a civilian career.
  • Career Transition Support: Build a strong foundation for a marketing career by developing skills, networking, and refining your resume through the SkillBridge program.
