Position: Electrical Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$80/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Construct enterprise electrical engineering scenarios for complex circuit and systems design cycles, multi-stakeholder design reviews, and certification processes at Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Build tasks across F500 power systems, grid infrastructure, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems, firmware, signal processing, and control systems engineering.
  • Develop engineering scenarios using tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE simulation platforms, and enterprise PLM/EDA systems.
  • Apply enterprise electrical engineering methodologies such as circuit analysis, EMC/EMI compliance, control theory, and reliability analysis to produce reference design specifications and executive-level technical narratives.
  • Author rubrics that distinguish authentic enterprise electrical engineering judgment from generic textbook-level recall.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years working as an electrical engineer or engineering lead at a Fortune 500 company.
  • Direct ownership of F500-scale circuit designs, power systems, or engineering certification programs.
  • Fluency in enterprise electrical engineering tooling and methodologies.
  • Understanding of F500 safety standards, regulatory certification (UL, FCC, IEC), and cross-functional design governance.

Preferred

  • Prior rubric, engineering-training curriculum, or design documentation authorship.
