Fairport, NY is the headquarters for the Radionix sales & marketing organization in the United States and serves as the primary site for research and development, engineering, quality, and product management for intrusion detection systems, including state-of-the-art sensors, control panels, software, communications and more. 

Job Description

The Project Manager will partner with the organization, across all business functions, through all phases of the development life cycle to ensure project success.  The Project Manager role is a key driver in the success of our portfolio of products, both hardware and software, and an active participant in defining product development process. 

Core Project Management Skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Experience tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and stakeholder communications.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

  • Ability to proactively identify issues and drive resolutions.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a focus on accountability.
  • Experience managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including working with international teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present project updates, forecasts, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience working with auditors, finance, and accounting teams.

Financial & Analytical Skills

  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to monitor performance against annual business plans and identify variances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting business planning cycles and year-end financial activities.

Technical & Systems Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SmartSheet or similar).
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in an environment that included software development.
  • Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle (initiation through delivery).
  • Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and budget management.
Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $145,000-$160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
