• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through interviews and standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adjusted according to the client’s evolving needs.
• Engage in regular one-on-one counseling sessions, offering guidance, coping strategies, and resources tailored to each client’s unique challenges.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on interpersonal skills development and community support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, for a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring regulatory compliance and confidentiality standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clinic emphasizes culturally responsive care, fostering an understanding of how cultural, social, and economic factors influence mental health and treatment effectiveness.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, as well as crisis intervention techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy within community health settings.
• Familiarity with using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to optimize service delivery.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
